It is always nice to think about owning and running our own business - being our own boss. Are you at that ‘ideas’ stage? I have a few suggestions if you are considering opening a jewelry shop because everyone is into bling these days. You can really make your business stand out from the rest by offering your customers high quality and different pieces to other shops.
You will be stocking your shelves by buying wholesale jewelry of course and one merchant that will offer you wonderful items is Cheap Wholesale Jewelry. Their pieces are nearly all heavily discounted, sold in bulk (remember) and of the highest quality - the focus is on affordability, not cheap. They have a range of innovative designs and are constantly introducing new lines for you to offer your customers. Not only that, but join their club and you will get 10% discount off all your shipping…for life!

No more plastic
February 29, 2008 on 10:15 pm | In Culture | No CommentsThe campaign is on now in the UK to rid itself completely of those destructive plastic bags. Recent pictures of whales, swans and seals who died from ingesting plastic bags thrown into the sea were heartbreaking and seem to have struck a chord with the public in general.
But how is this to be achieved? it seems that supermarkets will be targeted and will not be allowed to give them away to shoppers anymore. I remember the old brown paper bags - they were environmentally friendly, reusable at home - even if they did split or tear when something wet inside the bag soaked through.
But they could be the answer we need…back to the old days and the brown paper bags then!

Have wheels will travel
February 29, 2008 on 10:05 pm | In Culture, Miscellaneous | No CommentsOne of the most challenging things in a handicapped person’s life in the past was the ability to get out and about and lead a normal life. Accessibility was restricted in nearly all areas of life but now things are so much different and this is brilliant. One thing that gives a disabled person complete independence is access to a car/vehicle; this allows freedom of movement, the ability to go to work, shop…everything.
There are many different kinds of vehicles on the market now that are especially designed for handicapped folk and Mobility Works specialise in assisting people find the right handicapped vans for their specific needs. Those with families will particularly appreciate the need for a vehicle that can both transport their wheelchair as well as the kids, the dog…you name it. Mobility Works are proud of their fine reputation in this field and offer their customers their experience, support and expertise.
