Feeding your skin
March 14, 2008 on 9:55 am | In Culture, Miscellaneous | No CommentsThere are so many different skin care products on the market now that being a woman sometimes means being a scientist when it comes to choosing what is right to use on your skin. Opting for what is the most expensive does not necessarily mean that you will get results, and then how do you know that you are using the product in the correct way…? this can make a big difference.
If you wish to start with a clean slate and finds some facial skin care products that are proven to have a good effect have a look at Skin Dimensions Online. Apart from their own well known brand you have a choice of other lines to check out and they even offer advice on what to choose for you particular skin type. This sets them apart from other sites where the focus is just on selling.

Leave Swayze alone
March 14, 2008 on 9:43 am | In Culture | No CommentsIt is bad enough that poor Patrick Swayze is battling pancreatic cancer at the relatively young age of 55 but he now has the self-righteous anti-smoking lobby on his back now simply because he has been photographed with a cigarette.
Okay, I will admit that it is not a particularly good time for him to be continuing his habit but, lets face it, the guy is under terrible pressure, probably frightened, and needs some form of stress relief. I suppose he is thinking how much worse can it get anyway? but all the same, it is his business no-one elses.
Leave him alone to get on with things.

Here’s a nifty blog for design lovers
March 14, 2008 on 9:33 am | In Culture, Miscellaneous | No CommentsI love looking around at the many different blogs and while some are good, many are terrible and then there are a few that really are a niche. If you are into home/interior design you might want to have a look at Divalicious as it is blogged by an interior designer and there are lots of interesting articles to read. Many funny one’s too…I reckon the writer could turn this into a book!
Anyway, right now they are looking for visitors to vote on a favourite fabric thus making it cheaper to buy as they have a nifty gimmick called Vote Up Count Down. For example, if you like and wish to purchase some discount Kravet fabric then vote on it and it will get steadily cheaper to buy. The countdown only stops when someone buys it. What a great little marketing idea…now watch the count down commence!
