We were in Barcelona today for a bit of sightseeing and I noticed a line of african men standing with blankets on the ground in front of them bearing ‘designer’ bags and watches.

This was on La Rambla and the blankets had strings attached - obviously so that the guys could gather up their wares and make a quick getaway…

But of course the bags were not ‘designer’ and they were replica watches rather than the real, authentic, expensive type.

Make sure you dont fall for this type of thing when you travel - Gucci bags cost a lot moe than 30 euros!

Venus and Jupiter smile at planet earth

We were driving at night last weekend and noticed two very bright lights in the sky - we argued for a bit over which stars or planets they were and it came to light that I was half correct.

It was Venus and Jupiter in alignment near to the moon and it looked just fantastic. You can see the pics here.

The moon added to things by way of a ’smile’ as it was in it’s crescent form that night. Things like this just remind you that there is still plenty of magic left to be enjoyed.
