Ryanair pricing travellers out of flying altogether
September 5, 2009 on 1:54 pm | In Culture | No CommentsRyanair will soon have to pack it all in if their fees and charges get anymore ridiculous. Okay, so they offer very cheap air tickets but what is the point when you have to pay to check in online and pay even more to check in at the airport…?
Now you will have to pay more to carry your onboard bags and soon you will have to lug your ol’ Samsonite luggage to the hold yourself and pay for the privilege of doing it! Lets face it, it will soon pay us to fly with the standard airlines where you get reserved seating, refreshments and better service.

Does anyone recognise Ann Robinson these days…?
September 5, 2009 on 1:49 pm | In Culture | No CommentsDo you watch ’The Weakest Link’…? I have to admit that I do not but I do remember that Ann Robinson looked like a normal woman for her age. Just recently I saw a picture of her in the paper and was shocked at how she looked.
Her face is a mask! surely just some good wrinkle eye cream would have done her, she really has gone overboard with the botox. She no longer looks like Ann Robinson anymore. Women should consider these things when going for cosmetic procedures.

Turn on the TV…with your mind?
September 5, 2009 on 1:29 pm | In Science Fiction Technology | No CommentsHere’s something that the laziest of people would love – switching on the television without needing the remote control. Just imagine it: your new plasma is sitting there on it’s tv stand and you relax into your favourite chair to watch your show.
You look at the set and you think about turning it on…and it switches on! yep, soon we might be able to switch on our tv’s using nothing but telepathy. Now, I wonder if we will be able to change channels that way as well???
