We all like to save money these days and when we purchase something that costs quite a bit from our budget we like to know that we will get a good deal of use from that purchase. Whenever you purchase something today - let’s say it is a car - you will almost certainly be offered an extension on the manufacturer’s warranty by the salesperson. This is designed to save you money in the end.
But do you really need an Automobile Extende Warranty? think about it…look at what your warranty covers and then consider what happens in the normal course of wear and tear of using a car. Most problems do not occur until after the usual warranty period expires - this is when you will wish you had purchased one.

Do people save money anymore?
March 12, 2008 on 11:14 am | In Finance, Miscellaneous | No CommentsI wonder what our grandparents, and even our great-grandparents, make of the current financial climate. After all they were probably the last generation of humans who bought things like cars and houses with cash rather than the Car Loans that everyone opts for nowadays.
The saved and then bought; today we save but usually towards a deposit on what it is we wish to buy. For the larger purchases that is. For the smaller things in life, such as furniture and holidays, the way to go is through Personal Loans. This is not a growing trend as such, but rather the established way.
