Don’t assume you wont look the real deal without a telescope, of course you need one for anything beyond the moon, but the binoculars did the trick for us perfectly.

Something done today as it would cost a fortune to film such scenes with real people. Four years after the launch of electronic novels, the firm announced it has sold 105 e-books for every 100 printed books over the past six weeks. While e-book sales have previously outsold hardback books, never before have they exceeded sales of all books, in both hardback and paperback forms. The books can be read on a range of electronic devices – from Kindles to computers, iPods, iPhones, iPads and BlackBerrys.

In the U.K, where Amazon’s Kindle store opened only a year ago, e-books now outsell hardbacks at a ratio of two-to-one. Amazon began selling hard-cover and paperback books in July 1995. Twelve years later it launched e-books and by July 2010 Kindle book sales had surpassed sales of hardbacks. Six months later Kindle books began outselling paperbacks and now the format is more popular than all text books put together. The Kindle book-store offers more than 950,000 books for sale as well as more than 1.8 million free, out-of-copyright, pre-1923 books.

It would seem that a few jobs will be on the line after this incident and I am waiting to hear about any customers who have suffered financial loss after having their details stolen from their accounts. Looks like Sony could be up for compensating in huge amounts of money…

He has found many things have changed in his absence, new innovations have been introduced and some of his skills are interestingly out of date. The Conference call is new to him whereas before, years ago, he travelled to different cities for meetings – now everything can be achieved via link-up. I guess many people, women especially, find this is true – when you go back to work after a long break you find yourself almost a living fossil!

He has a habit of sitting with them and then just dragging them off his head when he needs to rush off somewhere – that does not do them any good obviously so this year I am getting him a better quality set, but he has to look after them or that’s it as far as I’m concerned!

We are having crappy weather right now and I have been having to switch our Linksys router on and off all day because the computer disconnects in the middle of everything. This is frustrating as you would imagine and it only seems to happen when you are sitting upstairs rather than downstairs. Come on guys – give us a computer connection that works!!!
