Do health supplements work?

The son of a friend decided to embark on a course of bodybuilding a while back and really threw himself into his new regime. In the process he bought all those health and fitness magazines aimed at guys and one thing I noticed when looking at them was the mindboggling array of supplements advertised. Powders, pills, drinks, energy bars and all bearing very scientific sounding names. And all very pricey!.

I wonder just how much good these things do if you don’t know enough about them. I would say that before buying and taking nutritional supplements you should really do your homework, and not only that, but buy them from a supplier who offers a lot of detailed advice and support. Many online companies just seem to focus on the selling side but others such as Supplements.net offer their customers full service covering what their needs are and basically what the supplements are all about.

If you are not too sure about supplements make sure you get all the advice you need first before you take them; that way you will get the most from them.
