Get ready for Mega-Monday as online traders open their ‘doors’.

Are you ready to start your Xmas shopping for real…? if you are a dedicated online shopper then today is the answer to your dreams but you will need plenty of credit on your credit card to really take advantage of the great bargains that are out there today. Online traders are expecting their greatest takings of the year today and are calling it ‘Mega Monday’.They are all hoping that Xmas will come early in the shape of a multi-million pound trading bonanza. Maybe this is why there are not the crowds in the shops right now…

I will be doing alot of my own shopping for Xmas online basically because I do not get much time to get out to the shops on my own, and having several curious kids usually tagging along makes it even more difficult. Once again DVDs are predicted to be the most popular buy with an estimated 50 MILLION sales in the run-up to Xmas with more the unusual items such as buying cigars online making up the more unorthodox end of the market.

There still remains the problem of where to store all these bargains once you have bought them – we have a roof space where we store everything so it looks like we will be telling the kids that the big snake still lives up there looking for mice to eat…works every time.
