Google - like it or loath it

July 6, 2008 on 7:14 am | In Culture |

Google, whether you like it or not, reigns supreme on the internet today. What began as a great little idea by a couple of computer nerds has grown to become a global phenomenon…and made those two guys billions. And good luck to them of course…wish I had thought up Google myself.

What you do have to concede though is that it is a breeze to use, uncomplicated and convenient. ‘Googling’ has become part of our vocabulary and whatever, whoever you wish to find you can ‘Google’ it and locate it. Just try it - if you are job hunting for a sales job then do a sales job search just typing in ’sales’ and ‘job’ and see how many results you get. See?
