It’s nice having a tanned face but…

Nobody wants the wrinkles that go with a tanned skin…and tanning and wrinkled leathery skin do go hand in hand. We have been enjoying lot’s of beautiful hot sunshine here during our stay and I have worked up a lovely golden tan without even trying (all that outside work…) but keeping the face protected has been a challenge.

I bought a good pot of night wrinkle cream to keep my skin happy at night but I have to admit I am forgetful about applying a face cream in the morning…I used to be very regimented about such things but I am just too busy these days to stand in front of a mirror. I’ve a nice lightly tanned face which is great as it gives me some colour without needing makeup, but I definitely steer clear of overdoing it – I despise that overcooked, leathery brown look that so many women go in for nowadays. It is aging and looks just awful.
