Keeping the kids happy

May 10, 2008 on 11:53 am | In Culture, Miscellaneous |

Last Xmas we finally gave in to our kids requests and bought them each one of those hand-held game consoles. Now, as they are young we were glad to see that there was a range of games to suit their age and they have played happily with them since then. But it was a good decision to buy two though.

They are now the second generation of ‘gamers’ in the family; I bought the very first nintendo that came out and had a lot of fun with it. Personally I reckon that the original format was the best and have a genuine affection for the first Mario and Zelda that appeared - primitive now as they may seem

Now my own kids have the benefit of how technology has moved on in the gaming world; my eldest have the xbox 360 and, even though it all seems too complicated for me, it looks like a lot of fun.
