Locked or unlocked…?

August 24, 2008 on 10:40 am | In Technology |

I was browsing in a phone store the other day and noticed that despite them being well and truly a part of everyday life, cell phones are still pretty darn expensive. I am not a cell phone-owning person myself but I did see one or two models which certainly appealed to me - if for no other reason than aesthetic ones…

Why though do people still pay the high amounts of money for phones with restricted use rather than going for the     unlocked cell phones which allow you to use a SIM card from another carrier - maybe even at a cheaper price…?
