Mind that asteroid!

Yet another huge asteroid is set to pass by earth sometime today and astronomers are excited as it will be close enough to get them a decent look at it. Not that close though that the human race need to have any worries. No need to write your will or take cover…as if any of that would do any good anyway.

Meanwhile yet another satellite is hurtling out of control and said to be heading in the earths direction. Apparently it is the size of a bus and is due to enter the earths atmosphere within a few weeks time.

Now this could cause some concern; anyone remember Skylab back in 1979? It wound up crashing to earth and landing in outback Western Australia in bits and pieces. Just as well Australia is uninhabited in many parts eh?
