One more reason to take caution when downloading
May 15, 2008 on 11:53 am | In Technology |You really have to watch your kids with this one guys, especially as it involves free downloads of Grand Theft Auto IV. Computer hackers are enticing people into free downloads of bogus versions of the game via the internet.
What has been discovered is that the downloads carry ‘Trojan’ viruses which, if downloaded to your PC, can cause havoc. Games enthusiasts are going into overdrive about this particular game which has mean’t open go for these cyber-vandals.
These viruses gain ‘back door’ access to your files and steal your personal information. So avoid this like the plague and buy the game instead.
