Sonic reigns supreme!
October 23, 2008 on 3:27 pm | In Culture |Sonic the Hedgehog has been named the most popular video-game character of all time. The popular cartoon topped the poll of over 500 gamers, compiled to mark the start of the London Games Festival this week. Now, it all depends on personal opinion of course as to whether YOU think Sonic is the best but he certainly has been around for a very long time.
Me? I have to say I prefer ol’ Mario. I remember my first Nintendo console where Mario ran only from left to right and jump over this and that. My god some of those levels were soooo frustrating !
But look at what the kids are playing these days; who’d have ever thought that gaming would go so far - and get so expensive !
